A great console if you were looking for what I was….nostalgia and fun!,
I have not owned a Nintendo console since the original NES. Lately although I love my PS3, PS4, and 360 I am getting tired of “killing pixels.” I have been longing for the old days of good clean fun with Mario and Kirby. After the holidays I was gonna buy a Wii anyway, but then they stopped producing it and made this and I couldn’t be happier. I have two tvs. My main high end TV has my other systems, which I don’t have room for more or I would have gotten a Wii U, and my secondary for VHS and my Wii Mini. I also have a wi-fi bluray player hooked up to it if I want netflix. That being said I have played a few games with it now and it functions great. I have played it almost as much as my PS4 and I’ve owned it for a shorter time.
Bottom line is if you want a nostalgic feeling system just to play the main wii games you will love this system. At 99.99 at Best Buy you can’t go wrong. IF you want this as well as the newest hardware Nintendo offers and internet options then saving for a Wii U might be a better idea or finding a used Wii.
