TV content received via an antenna can now be paused, rewound, and fast-forwarded if you have a TV running on Roku’s platform. Through a free update, Roku has added new controls for live over-the-air TV content. Every unit stretching back to 2014 can install this update.
Along with the live TV controls, Roku TVs now come with private headphone-based listening through Roku’s mobile app.
If you want to pause and rewind content, you’ll need to insert a USB memory stick with at least 16 GB of space. You can pause content for up to 90 minutes. Unlike with DVRs, you can’t schedule the recording.
