Next year’s iPhone, tentatively known as the “7s” or “8,” might include a curved OLED display. Apple is testing more than 10 prototypes, according to the Wall Street Journal, and information from suppliers suggests at least one model is likely to have a higher-resolution curved display.
Fairly reliable sources have made similar statements in the past. A piece from Barclays Research said the iPhone 8 would include a curved display that extends to the edges, for example.
One possibility is that the OLED display will only be found on a top-tier model, with the others still using LCD.
