Complaints flood in that August Windows 10 Cumulative Update

There are rising complaints that the this month’s Patch Tuesday Cumulative Update is inflicting huge issues for a subset of customers.

WindowsNewest studies that quite a few customers are having main points, starting from efficiency issues to precise Blue Screen of Death crashes.

KB4566782, launched this month on the 11th August, began with set up points on some PCs, however issues seem to have escalated since.

Another person notes:

“I installed last Tuesday, August 2020 update and broke my IR cam too on my X1EG2, and BSOD on Lenovo Vantage.”

Performance points embody system slowdown, elevated boot time, decrease fps counts in video games, exterior exhausting drives not working, and sluggish File Explorer and a third and 4th Windows 10 person complained:

“Whenever I try to open any anything my screen freezes and respond a few seconds later. It freezes frequently when I try to open a folder, video, music, code editor, Android Emulator, Adobe XD or any other window it freezes.”

“This update has made computer unusable. Windows explorer launches and freezes. Cannot use my external hard drives. Booting freezes. All sorts of problems. I now have to spend hours wiping and reinstalling everything.”
