   I purchased this collection of tips because it seems no matter what device I buy it isn’t useable in all places. I bought a Motorola Trac Phone but it didn’t have a car charger. They want as much for a charger device as for a phone….This allows me to connect the phone with one of the tips to a universal car charger that has a USB connection (some new cars have a USB built in now).
   I also have a AC plug adapter that has a USB connection so if I can’t find my phone charger it offers another way to charge….or I can plug the USB into my computer.
   Then there are all the other devices like MP3 players, portable GPS, Tablet, Camera and anything that needs recharging…. One of the ends will fit. The little bag that comes with the set is handy and also is big enough to put the car charger and other small pieces in so everything is all together. I store it in the car console where it is handy…..only a few steps out the door if I need it in the house.
   The retractable cord extends the reach of devices and retracts inside easily so everything isn’t tangled in the bag. Can’t get more convenient, especially for the price. There are probably more devices I can use it with that I haven’t yet discovered!
   I did notice the phone does not charge as fast as when it is plugged into AC with its original charger but that is not an issue to me as I can charge it all night if I have to.

   I love this cord. The retractable part functions very well and smoothly and, unlike most of the cords of this type I’ve dealt with, it’s easy to get plugged in and charging. Most cords like this (universal usb with attachments) I’ve had issues with. I’ve had to mess with them to keep a device charging. Not this one, however. I just plug in my device and happily go about my day without worrying that my cell phone will die while plugged in.

   EDIT: I’ve just read through a lot of the reviews and most of the lower reviews were due to receiving a defective product or lack of connectors for their device. This product comes with a warranty so if you do happen to receive the rare defective product, I’m sure the customer support will assist you in resolving it. Also, all of the connectors for this product are in the description. Please make sure it comes with the connector you need before buying. Lastly, some people complained about no data sync. It says in the description that this cable cannot sync data. Every cord of this nature I’ve purchased has been this way. I believe it has to do with the connection between the cable and the adapters. While it is a usb cable, the connection between the cable and the adapters is not a usb connection (though the part that goes into your computer and the part going into your device may be, it’s that middle connection between the two parts of this product you’re using). It’s somewhat similar to a headphone jack, which is not proper for heavy data transfer.
