This thing is flipping sweet!! The laps fly by. Had no issues with mine, but many reviews speak of awesome customer service which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I’ve sold two at the pool already to different swimmers (thinking I should start getting a cut haha). As far as use, plugged into computer, pulled up itunes and transferred music on. Got to pool, put it on shuffle was good to go. Comes with different sizes for ear cups so you probably want to take those with you the first time you intend to use it in case the original don’t fit. I lucked out the ones it came with fit me fine, have to push them in good but they stay put. Some said they put a little vaseline on them before inserting to get a better fit but I haven’t had the need to. The sound is good and better when your head is under water. I looked at other devices and didn’t want to mess with bluetooth connectivity issues and worry about the connection etc. The little bag is helpful, is a slightly padded material, provides a safe place to put it in and throw in your bag, not easy to cram goggles in too but I don’t care about that. Stays clipped to goggles with no problem. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and have zero complaints. One of my most exciting buys on amazon. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys swimming or any water/wet sport for that matter.

I bought my Audioflood ipod on 5/2/2015. I swim laps listening to music with it 5 days a week for over an hour a session as well as listening while doing water aerobics. A couple of weeks ago it stopped working. After a couple of emails and a phone call to Audioflood they determined the problem was with the ipod itself and not cords, they e-mailed me a free return label. I send just the ipod back to them on 6/10/2016. On 6/16/2016 I received an email where they said they were sorry it had taken them so long to fix it, they usually return a unit within 2 days, and that they were able to fix it and would send me a free gift because it had taken them longer then usual On 6/19/2016, I received my repaired good as new ipod, with new waterproof earphones and a new Apple charging cable. Apple sales the charging cables for $19, and AudioFlood sales the earbuds for $40. Since my ipod was over a year old, the fact that the fixed it for free, without even charging for postage, I consider very good service, since they fixed it and returned it in 10 days, and they sent me $59 worth of free gifts on top of that, I consider their level of service truly exceptional.

UPDATE 2016
Two years after my purchase, I was having a small technical difficulty but true to form, the folks at Audioflood helped me solve the problem! They are a great company and this product continues to be a terrific product which adds a whole new dimension to my swim workouts. I am lost without it. Don’t hesitate any longer, just go ahead and buy it! ( below).

UPDATE: More than one year later.
When I read a review of a product on Amazon, I always want to know, how long the person has had the product and do they still love it. So, I’m here to say that over a year later, I think this product is still THE BEST!

I love my Audioflood and am always answering questions about it and recommending it when someone new sees me at the pool using it. The sound quality, the ease, and the Customer Service are terrific. I will say again (see my original review below), if you have any problems with your device or earbuds, contact Customer Service before giving up or writing a negative review. There are solutions which Customer Service at Audioflood can offer that will help you feel like I do that this is one of the BEST purchases for the money that I have made.

INITIAL review:
I bought this 6 months ago but wanted to wait until I had used it for a while before writing a review. I read all the reviews on this and other waterproof MP3 players before I bought this product. I previously had purchased a different waterprrof MP3 product which was less money but as they say, “you get what you pay for”. It didn’t work well with my mac for downloading music and eventually I just had to find a replacement product. I splurged on this one and it is the best! The best product and the best customer service!

I read about the problems folks had with the earbuds and I’m here to say that if you are having problems with the earbuds, contact Audioflood customer service. They are amazingly helpful and offer great tips. I have very small ear canals and though the shuffle worked great, I couldn’t get the earbuds to fit quite right, stay put, etc. With the help of the Audioflood people, I stopped have any problems with the earbuds and am only sorry I didn’t contact them from the get go. I am so enjoying the amazing sound quality and ease with which this player provides music for my swim workouts that I would encourage anyone looking at this product to just go ahead, buy it. It is worth every penny. And don’t bother with the extra cost of warranty insurance. The product already comes with a two year warranty in the basic price.
