great item I loved it because I had the ever growing music collection in high school and couldn’t keep up with the overflowing amounts of music I was getting per day but getting the classic ipod that I grew up loving and then having almost three times the amount of data storage I was able to really put all of my music on the ipod and go through and shuffle the music I like and put in my forever fav’s or I can zip through my new songs playlist and listen to what songs my friends just handed off to me. love the classic ipod for the ease of use and its durable design (tested to the max trust me on that) and the fact that I had a screen if I wanted to watch a movie or watch a music video instead of listen to the bazillion of other songs I had. all in all love the product and would go back for a larger memory model to hold my ever groing library.

This iPod is trashed. I realize I am purchasing a used device, but I was very mislead on how used. There are dents, dings and scratches everywhere on this thing. The headphone jack clearly has internal damage. If anything gets bumped in the slightest, it was pause whatever is playing. I thought it could have been just debris lodged in the port but when I looked in there, I could see rust all the way down the sides; obvious signs of water damage. When I attempted to sync the ipod, it immediately froze my computer when plugged in. I couldn’t access anything on iTunes. I have a very expensive gaming desktop. It can run multiple large memory programs at a time without a hitch, yet this ipod crashed it even though I had set the system to not autosync… Once I finally got the ipod to be recognized, I found the previous owner’s collen and information still on the device. My guess: no inspection was given to this ipod. It took me hours, literally hours, to get this thing wiped clean and somewhat synced. It is so glitchy. I’m not new to iPods. This should not have been so difficult.
