    I have the iPod Touch, 5th Generation. I had once bought a slimmer clear case (I want clear, because I want the inscription on the back to be seen) from moshi, but the case began chipping away very quickly and within five months, it was missing huge fragments and hardly protected my iPod at all. If I dropped my iPod, the case would also fly off; I guess slimmer comes at a price. This rooCASE feels more hefty than the last case I had, and yet isn’t unpleasantly thick. I don’t imagine it chipping away as fast as my previous one. I also fully appreciate the slight lip of the case on the front that allows you to rest it down without the screen touching the surface. I don’t believe my previous had that. This is exactly the case I am looking for.

    I love rooCASE. They make some of the most minimalist, great looking, cases I’ve seen. Apple’s latest iPod Touch is already very slim and adding the rooCASE to it actually helps in my opinion. It gives a little more bulk, but at the same time, protects that great looking aluminum backing.
