Just two days are now left for the official launch of Xiaomi Mi5X and also the MiUI 9. We have already seen the Mi5X in the press renders that were revealed by Xiaomi itself as the company knows that leaks have already spoiled everything. Along with that, we are familiar with the new MiUI 9 features, new themes and we have already shared the previews of the three new themes that are coming with the MiUI 9. Today, however, Xiaomi shared a video teaser of the Xiaomi Mi5X on its official Weibo page that shows the beauty of the phone from all the angles.
Above is the video teaser of the device that shows the phone in three different colors – Black, Pink and not to forget Gold. The phone has got the same camera setup design as on the Xiaomi Mi6, and the antenna lines have got a design inspired by iPhone 7. There is no front-facing fingerprint scanner, and this time, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear side. It is said that this phone is going to launch as a competitor to the Oppo R11, but it is sad that Xiaomi Mi5X won’t feature Snapdragon 660.
So talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi5X has a 5.5-inch Full-HD Display, and it is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB RAM. There is dual camera setup on the back as well. Now, there are rumors that Xiaomi might launch two variants of the phone with 4GB/32GB and 6GB/64GB configurations respectively.
Also, it is also said that if Xiaomi launches the premium variant, it will feature Snapdragon 660 processor.Then, the premium variant will be priced at 1999 Yuan or $295 whereas the normal variant at 1499 Yuan.
