When some phones disappear from the Xiaomi official site, we understand the manufacturer was opening way for the Xiaomi Mi 5S and Mi Note 2. I remember there was a time when the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus was announced along with the original 5S, many Mi fans lost their faith to see the Mi Note 2 this year. Accidentally or not, many users were disappointed of the Mi 5S and our recommendation was to wait for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 that is set to be launched in October. Later we heard the Mi Note 2 is already in mass production, i.e. we’ll can get our hands on this amazing device in coming weeks. As of now, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been spotted in real photos showing the double-curved display and an eye-catching design.
As we can see on leaked photos, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 lacks the Mi logo that has been rumored to appear instead of the home button. So it’s quite reasonable the phone comes with its popular long strip front Home button. The overall design of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 reminds the old good iPhone, so not in vain this manufacturer is known as Chinese Apple.
Next, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports a double-curved display like the Galaxy S7 Edge, but if the latter is packed with a 5.5-inch screen, the Xiaomi phone seems to sport a 5.2-inch screen. Though it has been said to have a 5.7-inch screen, it turns out the company has decided not to make it a phablet. May be my supposes are wrong and we are dealing with a phablet. However, the most interesting part of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 shouldn’t be the size but the 2K resolution, and if I am not wrong it will be so.
One of the main reasons why many Mi fans were disappointed of the Mi 5S was the actual lack of under glass fingerprint scanner. In this sense, seems the manufacturer will do its best to pack the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with ultrasonic scanner.
As for other specs, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is said to run on Android 7.0 and it should be powered with a Snapdragon 821 CPU paired with a 4GB/6GB RAM, a dual-camera on the back and a ceramic body like the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro, though the latter is less possible to be true, because the Chinese Apple has some problems with its production.
Well, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is going to be a savior for the company. It has been leaked in photos earlier, and we have seen it looks quite amazing. Now when have got another batch of photos, we can say it has all chances to take Xiaomi from the marsh. The supposed launch date is either October or November. But regardless the launch date, if it costs 3000 yuan will you buy it?
