WhatsApp has been constantly trying to improve their Windows Phone app to bring it at par with the apps on other platform. Now a new email suggests that the company might be interested in adding 2-step verification process to the Windows Phone app. A new translation email sent by WhatsApp contains some stings which suggests that they might be working on a 2-step verification process for better security of the personal data. The strings show the 2-step verification process and WhatsApp might be adding email verification as well. Although do note that this is just an extract from a translation email sent by WhatsApp and it might change in the future but it would be interesting to how WhatsApp will work with 2-step verification.
