Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, might be working on an airship. Bloomberg claims he’s working on the project in a NASA hangar and the airship has a design reminiscent of a zeppelin. It’s unknown if Brin is forming a new company to work on aeronautics.
Whatever he’s developing doesn’t seem to be associated with Alphabet, suggesting we could eventually see the launch of a Brin-led company.
He’s utilizing NASA’s Ames Research Center, which has been under lease by Google since 2015. The structure that’s been created so far takes up the majority of a hangar at the facility.
