It is obvious that companies will release Android 8.0 Oreo firmwares first for their flagship smartphones and then start working on other phones. The same goes with Samsung, who has reportedly started working on the Oreo update for its Galaxy S8 series of smartphones.
The update is rumoured to have firmware version G955FXXU1BQI1 and G950FXXU1BQI1 for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, respectively. We don’t have any information on when the update will arrive, but a beta testing program will start soon. There are also some rumours that Samsung might not pack all Android 8.0 features with this update.
