A few months ago we were comparing four outstanding smartphones that should come later this year. Some of them have already launched, while the rest is still expected to be unveiled officially. For example, the Meizu MX6 is already available for purchase. The same can be said for the OnePlus 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Pro. But what about the fourth participant of our comparison article, the Oppo Find 9? Seems we have to wait for it one more year.
The Oppo Find 7 was launched two years ago. Its successor has been leaked for several times, and we have been thinking the next flagship from this line will knock our doors very soon. We have learned the Oppo Find 9 will come a Skyline notification light that uses a LGF light guide film allowing the smartphone to produce a cascade of glowing light. We have already seen this feature on other Find line handsets, but now it shows with different colors at the same time. I don’t think this will be as useful as the rest of its features, but it can become a selling point.
The Oppo Find 9 should come with a revolutionary charging technology called the Super VOOC allowing users to fully charge their handsets in 15 minutes.
Besides we also know the Oppo Find 9 will feature a 5.5-inch 2K resolution double-curved screen, Snapdragon 821 processor, 16MP camera on the front and 21MP camera on the back, 4100mAh battery, 128GB internal storage, Type-C interfaces, and 8GB of RAM.
As you see, the Oppo Find 9 will come with a decent list of specs, but as Pan Jiutang has announced in a microblog we have to wait for the upcoming flagship for more than 9 months as it will come next summer. Obviously, we have nothing to do but to wait for it, but I wonder whether the Oppo Find 9 with these features will be competitive next year.
