Samsung’s 2015 Gear VR headset has been replaced with a new model, but it’s still adequate for many consumers and may therefore be worth buying now that it’s $60. The headset launched for $100, but it has dropped to $60 on Amazon. At that price, it’s one of the best options for people who want to experience VR and are on a budget.
This version of the virtual reality headset works with only a few Samsung phones, including the Note 5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S7, and S7 Edge.
Samsung updated the Gear VR in August.
