We know the next flagship of Huawei will hit the market on June 21. This is the date when the Huawei Honor 9 will be officially unleashed. At least, we are think so. We have heard too much about the next-gen Honor line handset, but the features we are going to talk about right now seems to be final.
According to the leaked docs, the Huawei Honor 9 will sport a Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4GHz, 4 / 6GB of RAM, 64 / 128GB of internal memory, dual-camera on back with 12MP + 2MP sensors, 8MP front shooter, 3100mAh, Android 7.0 and many more. But do not even dream to see a Leica technology on the camera – this is a regular dual-sensor camera seen on a few devices from the same niche.
As for housing, it comes with a double-glass + metal frame design. This means we can expect to see many color options like other Huawei top-notch devices. Fortunately, the Huawei Honor 9 will have many colors such as white, yellow and sapphire blue. Personally, I believe there will be 5-6 color options we can choose from. The front panel is covered with a 3D curved glass. The fingerprint reader is placed under the home button. Lastly, the rear camera modules are placed horizontally like the Xiaomi Mi 6.
We have also heard the Huawei Honor 9 will be priced 2299 yuan ($335), 2599 yuan ($378) and 2999 yuan ($437) for the 4+64GB, 6+64GB and 6+128GB versions, respectively. Thus the Huawei Honor is going to cost less than the Xiaomi Mi 6, which is the first Chinese phone packing a Snapdragon 835 processor. In this sense, sporting a Kirin processor may be the main reason why the Huawei Honor 8 will be priced less than its main competitor.
