One of the simplest ways to use the Documents App is to enable it using System Settings.
Go to Settings > Installed Apps > Documents

If you already are a Developer, the system will show “No need, you are already a developer” message.

- Find the Turn on MIUI optimization tab and turn it OFF.
You will get the system warning to Reboot your phone.
- Reboot your phone to enable the app permanently.

How to use the Documents App
We will try using Documents App using Chrome Browser on Android phone.
- Go to Google Chrome browser.
- Open the page or document that you need to save on your phone
- Click on the Options and select Print option
- You will be redirected to Documents App where you can save the document to the desired location and also rename the file.
- Press the Save button and the document will be saved in your Downloads folder.
