Finally, after a long wait, Xiaomi has announced the release of MIUI 9 to be July 26 alongside the upcoming flagship ‘Xiaomi Mi 5x’. It is rumored that Mi 5x will already be running on MIUI 9, so there’s no need for an update for the smartphone.
Like the previous MIUI, the officials of MIUI has started recruiting the audience has the beta tester for MIUI 9 (China ROM). So, who are beta testers? MIUI 9 beta testers are those people who get to enjoy MIUI 9 skin and features before others. This means that you can enjoy the demo version days before the initial release.
We must make it clear that the beta version is only available for the China ROM. To be direct, the global users won’t have the chance to test it in the Global ROM. Xiaomi will release the updated OS in batches (Mi 6 and Redmi Note 4X to be the first batch) for a better user experience.

MIUI 9 Beta Tester (China ROM) – How to Apply?
1. Download and install MIUI Global Forum App on your smartphone.
2. Open the app and select Recruitment from the app’s homepage.
3. Fill out your information as stated in the picture below.
4. Click the ‘Submit’ button.
