Google’s search results for movies and TV shows currently feature embedded ratings from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, and now Google is testing its own user ratings feature. The company has confirmed it is trying out a like and dislike system. As it’s only an experiment, some users may not see it.
This feature presumably has an impact on Google Now so that users see more information about the shows they have “liked.” Any other potential impact of the feature was not mentioned.
Users have been seeing the ratings at least for weeks.
