Google is expected to release two smartphones on October 4, and the names of the upcoming devices are still uncertain, with recent leaks pointing towards Pixel and Pixel XL branding. The smaller model, Pixel or Nexus Sailfish, has just leaked in a 360-degree video and press renders.

The images and video have been leaked by Android Authority and @OnLeaks, and they show the smartphone from all angles, including its design and ports that it might come with. Aside from this, some rumored specs of the upcoming device have been confirmed.

Google’s Pixel (Nexus Sailfish) seems to come with a USB Type-C port, which is to be expected, seeing how the microUSB has been missing from many flagships launched in the past period of time. The images suggest the phone could be coming with dual stereo speakers, placed on the bottom of the handset, right next to the USB Type-C port.

The smartphone’s measurements have been revealed as well. It thus seems to measure 143.8 x 69.5 x 7.3 mm at the thinnest point at the bottom and 8.5 mm at the top, which is the thickest point. The report mentions that the headphone port is located on the top left side of the device.

Battery capacity on the Pixel could reach just 2,770mAh

Google Pixel could come with a full HD display measuring about 5.2 – 5.3 inches and run Snapdragon 820 SoC, although there’s a slight chance that it could come with the latest processor model from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 821. In addition, it seems to feature 4GB of RAM, which has become the norm for the latest flagships.

32GB of internal storage and a 12MP rear camera are other specs expected on the upcoming phone, together with an 8MP front camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Battery capacity should reach 2,770mAh while the Pixel XL (Nexus Marlin) could have a bigger battery.

One thing that makes these phones exciting is the fact that they will come with stock Android Nougat, possibly the 7.1 Nougat version, which is projected to incorporate the Nexus Launcher and Google Assistant.

Google will host an event on October 4, during which the company is expected to unveil the Pixel (Nexus Sailfish) and Pixel XL (Nexus Marlin).
