But, along with that phone, Xiaomi is also launching the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and this is the first time we are getting a ‘Pro’ variant in the Redmi Note series from Xiaomi. The phone packs some seriously amazing specifications and a great design which is pretty similar to the iPhone X. So, what are the specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro? XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 5 PRO – DESIGN AND SPECIFICATIONS
Xiaomi is calling it ‘India’s Camera Beast’, and after knowing the camera specs, you will surely understand why! Talking about the specifications, this phone has the same 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio as the Redmi Note 5. There is a 2.5D glass on top, and the phone comes with on-screen navigation buttons. Again, first for any Redmi Note phone. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Snapdragon 636 Processor with Adreno 506 GPU. There are three storage variants – 3GB + 32GB | 4GB + 64GB | 6GB + 64GB. So, we are getting a 6GB RAM variant for the very first time with a Redmi Note smartphone which is great (RIP Moto X4!)
Android Nougat runs out of the box, and there is a huge 4,000mAh battery under the hood that is enough to last a full day with heavy usage. Last but not the least, let’s talk about the cameras. There is a vertical dual camera setup on the rear that is almost similar to the one on iPhone X. There is a combination of 12MP(f/2.2) + 5MP (f/2.0) cameras on the rear. On the front, the phone has an impressive 20MP camera with Sony IMX376 sensor. So, selfies are going to be incredible.
