BenQ is rolling out a new monitor that should interest gamers looking for a large VA monitor with AMD FreeSync support. The new EX3200R is a 31.5” curved VA monitor with thin bezels on all sides.

The VA panel offers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and a static contrast ratio of 3000:1, which is typical for a VA panel. Rest of the key panel specs include 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, 4ms grey to grey response time, true 8-bit colors, 300 nits maximum brightness, 1800R curvature, 72% NTSC color gamut coverage, and 45 – 144 HZ variable refresh rate with AMD FreeSync support on compatible GPUs. The monitor uses a flicker-free WLED backlight. To further help reduce eye strain, the monitor offers Low Blue Light modes as well.

Apart from being a great monitor, the EX3200R is going to appeal to multimedia enthusiasts as well, as it supports video format support for film-like motion with 1080/24P, 25P, 30P playback.

The integrated stand allows users to adjust the height by up to 60mm and can also be easily removed to install an alternative stand or mount thanks to 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes. Connectivity wise, the BenQ EX3200R offers a DisplayPort 1.2a, Mini DP 1.2a, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5m headphone jack. Some of the other “special” features listed on the BenQ website include Dynamic Power Saving (DPS), Super Resolution, Color Vibrance settings, and PIP/PIB support.
