Like it did this year, Apple is going to cut its iPhone production going into the first quarter of 2017. Suppliers expect a 10% cut in handset production, according to Nikkei Asian Review. The cuts apply to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
A couple factors are contributing to the decline in production. First, demand isn’t high enough to justify a larger order. Second, a lack of camera sensors has placed a limit on the number of handsets that can be produced during the first three months of the year.
