Apple Launches New Free Swift Coding Courses

273

Apple has come out with some new free courses to help people learn the Swift programming language. The company’s free curriculum is intended for high school and community college students. Six US community colleges are already going to offer a Swift language course.

Included within the curriculum are 180 hours of training. Apple is providing lesson plans, instructions, and exercises for teachers at now cost.

Students can “learn to code and design fully functional apps, gaining critical job skills in software development and information technology.”

This offer builds upon Apple’s Everyone Can Code curriculum, which is meant for younger students who are learning more basic coding.
