We know that Google plans to launch its new mobile operating system by the end of August, since some smartphone companies have promised to release new smartphones with Android 7.0 Nougat, the company never revealed the exact release date of the platform.
As the end of August rapidly approaches, we have learned about the possible launch date. According to Canadian carrier Telus, who revealed the date in an update schedule posted on its forum, Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to launch this Monday, on August 22. Another confirmation is LG’s Nougat release, which is expected to roll out to select LG G5 owners in South Korea on the same date. This was confirmed by a Korean LG page. I guess we can wait until Monday to see if the rumours are legit.
