Volsmart Android 5.1 installed on 2000 Ford F150,
I had 4 cuts to the inner dash- 1/2″ across the top, 1 cut in the middle and 1 cut on each side edge. Then push the center rear so it bends backwards, leaving the original mount with metal step. Then cut about 1/3″ off the top of the outer trim.
I have not upgraded nor updated, it works great the way it is. Later I will poke around with the settings. Wifi, BT, GPS, Rear Camera, CD, Hands free phone all work great!
Cons: Not too many, I went to Lowe’s and picked up #127155 or M5-.80×10 bolts that worked fine for the side inserts, no outer frame needed.
Update: Customer service responded to my inquires and I am highly satisfied with this purchase.
