I would give it 3 stars, but the versatility gives it an extra star. My daily go-to blue tooth device is the MPOW Cheetah. I’m very satisfied with it. I normally use the Sony Walkman MP3 player just for running. It went out on me in less than a year so I didn’t want to buy it again. It had 4GB local storage. Which is important to me because I don’t like to run carrying a phone. So I bought the Inflex because that feature on the InFlex already satisfied my need plus it was half the price as the Sony. The Bluetooth capability is a big plus as well. I thought this could possibly replace my MPOW Cheetah but the sound quality does not compare; specifically referring to the bass response. So MPOW stays. While running I don’t really need the perfect sound. I just need something playing so it will do. So the InFlex will live in my gym bag and my MPOW will live in my computer bag and I’m fine with that. I’m slightly concerned about the durability. My first MPOW Cheetah broke on me because the plastic was too stiff and couldn’t handle being bent. When I got the 2nd one I religiously keep it in the box it came in that is perfectly contoured to the device. Kind of burden to carry around in my bag, but I’ll deal with it. The Inflow just came with a nylon bag to keep it in. This will not protect it properly and I expect for the device to break eventually if I don’t find a hard case to store it in. Also, the charge/data port cover is not fully engaging itself. No mater how hard I push it in, it comes back out slightly. I fear that sweat will get in there and cause it to rust over time. I bought the two-year warranty for an extra 5 bucks. Money well spent.
    Pros:
    *13 hour battery life
    *Bluetooth & Local Storage versatility.
*Comfortable Fit. Can be worn for hours with no fatigue.

    Cons:
*Cheap sound does not sound full due to weak bass response. Do-able but could be better
*Protective sleeve not sufficient. Will eventually break if not stored in a hard case.
*Multi-Function button and power button are too close together. Easy to push the wrong button.
*Charge port cover doesn’t fully engage. Will allow moisture to get on connectors.
*Device has to be turned off then back on to switch from Bluetooth to local storage. Device has to be removed from your head so you can look at the LED to confirm the device is in MP3-mode.

Awesome sound, great quality. Quick to charge and can play about 4 hours continuously before it needs charged again. Admittedly, I probably used them 75+ times, for at least an hour at a time, but that was during the months of June and July. Before July was over, the wire that keeps its shape was poking through the headband. Pyle claimed it was not a manufacturer defect, rather misuse or abuse. I am an adult that takes great care of my overpriced items (and even kept these in a case when they were not on my head). After I realized the warranty was crap, I took them apart to see if I could fix the problem. The wire had completed snapped . The wire is super thin and obviously can’t handle 100 uses. (see picture). Even the brandname on the side of the earphones wore off. I primarily used them in water while they were useful. I managed to bend the spring-loaded wire to wrap around the screw and make them usable again. Within a week, the wire finally lost most all of its stability and unless I duct tape them to my head, they are very unlikely to stay in place. Still I don’t give up. I tuck the earbuds tight into my ears so they stay in place. No time later, a piece of the plastic part breaks off, thus exposing the inside wiring to the elements.

Pro: Multiple ear buds (for water and land) and sizes.
Con: Most of the earbuds are way too big for anybody and some of them won’t even fit onto the earbud piece
    Pro: Awesome when they work
    Con: Breaks without any misuse

Also, they really are quite large – awkward and weird to learn how to wear comfortably at first. Initially when I was wearing them swimming, they would slip off, every time I dived in the water, or even lightly forcefully went under water.

I did my research before I bought these and they were on Top 10 lists. I don’t know if I just got a lemon pair or if they really are just a pile of trash.

And it could have been me, but twice when I hooked them up to a computer to add/delete songs, several of the songs suddenly became duplicated (like 8 of them). No reasoning why.

First Review: Had it for three weeks and was very satisfied. Use it working out in the gym and swimming. Has good over all sound. In the pool you can sometimes lose sound in one of the ear pieces and have to blow out the water.

Ok, I’m now about 5 weeks in and the sound out of one side is permanently garbled and a wire is poking through the headband. Pyle will fix it if I send it back but they want $25 for return shipping.
