Installed this in a 2008 Toyota Highlander(with no Nav or JBL audio). After much research into the top brands like Kenwood, Alpine etc, this one had all the features I wanted at a fraction of the price. It has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, I needed both due to using both types of phones in our household. Then I needed 2 USB inputs so could permanently hook up on of them to a USB thumb-drive filled with music. I also added the Crux SWRTY61S so I could retain use of my Toyota’s steering wheel controls. I installed this myself with a Metra dash kit for my SUV. This unit is brilliant, fast UI and I think is probably the best value for money out there. The sound is also pretty decent without an external amplifier. I did upgrade the front speakers in my toyota with OEM style component speakers (Powerbass OE69C-TY Component OEM 2-Way 6×9 Car Speaker System Set). I don’t understand why comparable units from the top brands cost at least twice as much, makes no sense. This is also a California based company that also makes the BOSS brand. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work flawlessly, with Siri, Google Assistant etc. Bluetooth works perfect, the other party can hear me through the supplied mic just fine. I installed the included mic overhead where a factory mic would have been. I had to also locate parking wire near the left foot well so connect to this headunit since my SUV had a foot pedal for the parking brake. Again highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed since it has so many features and makes your car feel new again. (P.S.: My wife was asking for a new car since she wanted bluetooth in her car, now I don’t have to buy a new car for quite some time :-))
