I’m loving this little ipod! (Would have liked it even better if it were $40-$50 cheaper.) I got it in pink – it’s adorable. All the colors looked cute and I had a difficult time choosing. The touch screen is great and makes it very easy to use. The clip on the back is awesome b/c you don’t need a pocket or separate strap to secure it to you. It seems like it has been a little stripped down of features – perhaps making it a touch screen sacrificed a couple of things. Or maybe Apple just wants you to upgrade to a iTouch. It doesn’t have a camera but nobody ever used that on the old one anyway…most people use their phones. 8 GB is fine for me b/c although I like music , I don’t have a huge collection and don’t spend a lot of money buying it. (Anyway it holds 2000 songs so that is fine for me.) The only things I don’t like about it are that because it is so small and has a touch screen I am always afraid to lose it or break it. Also, there is a “shake to shuffle” function that is annoying b/c if you shake the ipod inadvertently you can shuffle it without expecting to – this happened when I used it in my car when going over bumps in the road. However, not a big deal b/c you can just turn that function off. Would make a nice gift.
