ZTE today expanded its mid-range portfolio with the introduction of the Axon 7 Max. The Axon 7 Max features a large 6-inch 1080p display that is claimed to support naked eye 3D.

The phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset, which has been paired with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you get 64GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded with a microSD card.

At the rear, the main highlight is the Axon 7 Max’s dual-camera setup with 13MP sensors, laser autofocus, and a dual-LED flash. For taking selfies, the phablet comes with an 8MP unit on the front. The Axon 7 Max has a lot to offer to audiophiles as well. The phablet features dual Hi-Fi AK4962 DACs, with support for High-Res audio. Battery life should be quite impressive as well, thanks to a large 4,100mAh non-removable battery inside, which supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging standard.

The Axon 7 Max runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with ZTE’s MiFavor 4.0 custom Android skin running on top. It has been priced at 2999 Yuan in China, which converts to S$617. Pre-orders open today, with the phablet going on sale on November 2. ZTE is also giving away some free 3D content worth 360 Yuan with the mid-range phablet.
