The rumoured ZTE Z982 has finally become official. The Chinese company has today announced the phone today under the name ZTE Blade Z Max. The successor to the Zmax Pro is priced at $129 and will start shipping through MetroPCS on August 26. Those that pre-register for the device will get a $25 Google Play gift card.
In terms of specifications, the phone comes with a 6-inch 1080p display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 4,080 mAh battery. It has dual rear cameras with 16 + 2 MP sensors, while the front camera is an 8 MP unit.
