ZOTAC today unveiled its GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB graphics card (model: ZT-P106A-10L). Entirely custom-design, this card combines a compact cooling solution that’s little more than a monolithic heatsink with radially-projecting, forked aluminium fins, a copper core, and an 80 mm fan; with a custom-design PCB that draws power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector.
The card sticks to NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of 1506 MHz core, 1708 MHz GPU Boost, and 8.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory. Display outputs include three one each of HDMI 2.0b, dual-link DVI, and three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. Expect this card to retail at the $199 baseline price NVIDIA set for this SKU.
