In some cases, it is nice to have an option to either speed up or slow down a video on YouTube, a feature that was missing on Android and iOS devices. Now, Google has finally added this feature for both mobile platforms and users can now choose the playback speed of the videos they are watching.
This feature was previously available on the desktop app for years and was one of the most requested features from users. According to developers, the playback speed can be adjusted from 0.25x to 2x via the overflow menu of the player controls.
