Just like it was promised a few days ago, Xiaomi has unveiled a new treat for all Mi fans. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is finally official and comes with various improvements over its predecessor. The main improvements are new display, more efficient Snapdragon chipset and a larger battery.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 packs a 6.44-inch display with thin bezels that measure only 0.7mm, Snapdragon 625 chipset that is much more power-efficient, 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. Also improved is the 12-megapixel rear camera, which now packs Sony IMX386 sensor, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.
Its predecessor already packed a huge, 4,850 mAh battery, but Xiaomi managed to install even bigger battery that has 5,300 mAh. It also comes with QuickCharge 3.0 and one-hour charging fills 2/3 of the capacity.
Other things to mention are a full metal unibody with rounded edges that is just 7.6mm thick, with antenna bands at the top and bottom, dual stereo speakers, a fingerprint sensor on the back and USB Type-C port.
