Xiaomi starts the year renewing the Mi Notebook Air 13.3-inch, one of its star products. Now it can be purchased with the latest eighth generation Intel Core processors and another feature.
The Mi Notebook Air 13.3-inch was originally made with the previous Intel Core i5-7200U and Intel Core i7-7200U dual-core 2.5GHz models, but now it’ll have another level of performance with the new upgrade of 8th generation Core i5 or Core i7 chipsets. Plus the addition of the Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card with 2GB GDDR5 DRAM upgrade of the last year.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3-inch New Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air comes in Dark Gray color with dimensions of 13.3-inch (309.6×210.9×14.8mm) and can weight 1.3kg. For the visualization has a 13.3-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The upgraded variant comes equipped with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, and supports hard disk expansion.
The Core i5-8250U model comes with 4 Cores and 8 threads and a maximum clock frequency of 3.4GHz, while the Core i7-8550U variant comes with a maximum clock speed of 4.0GHz, but also has four cores and eight threads. Both can bring 40 percent performance improvement to the laptop.
Among this features, the Mi Notebook Air has Bluetooth 4.1 support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac bands and supports fast charging via USB Type-C port to the 40Watt battery with Xiaomi claiming eight hours of online video playback. However, this machine has 2GB discrete graphics memory to support video editors programs and casual gaming. The notebook has an integrated fingerprint sensor to unlock the desktop, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Mi Notebook Air 13.3-inch comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Edition and can also drive two external 4K displays. And It also supports Intel dual-antenna Wi-Fi receiver with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
This new variant is already on Mi Store website at a price of CNY 5,399 (aprox $847), only available for Chinese residents for now. But, we will be informing you when it is on sale internationally at the Gearbest store or AliExpress.
