Seems everything we have heard about the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is true. First it was leaked as the phone will come with a 4GB of RAM. Later, it became known it will be packed with a Snapdragon SoC. And finally, yesterday the Redmi Note 4X was announced to come on February 14. Even some specs were confirmed. According to them, the newer model from this series should come with Snapdragon 625, which is thought to be the biggest improvement in comparison to the previous version. As for now, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is said to come in three version. The price tags for them are spotted as well.

As the processor is going to be the biggest improvement, let’s focus on it mainly. There were different versions of Snapdragon rumored to come in this handset. Initially it was talked as the company will pack it with a Snapdragon 653. The version number changed to 635. Now we know the phone will sport a Snapdragon 625 chip coming with 14nm process technology. Other than that, the Redmi Note 4X will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 5MP front camera, 13MP rear camera, 4100mAh battery, dual-SIM support and many more.

As some news claim, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will come in three versions: 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM (supposed price is 999 yuan ($145)); 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM (supposed price is 1099 yuan ($160)); and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM (supposed price is 1299 yuan ($190)). Plus, there will be a few color options. This means the company continues keeping the Redmi line handsets as the most affordable phones in their niches. As you remember, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3X is currently sold for only $125.99. So the suggested price tags are quite affordable, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has all the chances to substitute the Note 3X successfully.
