One of Xiaomi’s best-selling smartphones in face of the Redmi Note 3X is offered for a penny. This simply means the retailers are emptying their storages in favor of upcoming models. As for this series handsets, the next model is named as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. The latter has appeared at GearBest, meaning its launch date is closer than we think.
Recently we have come in with an interesting article talking about the key features of the forthcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. If you remember, this device is said to come with a Snapdragon 635 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. This SoC supports 28nm process technology, which is the way weaker than many chipsets available in the market. But do not forget we are dealing with a Quaclomm’s CPU. I mean there are huge differences between processors made by American and Chinese / Taiwanese manufacturers. Say there are many differences between Qualcomm and MediaTek.

Besides the CPU we also know the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB ROM, 4100mAh battery, 16MP camera and 4G support. As you see, the company has made many improvements in comparison to the previous version. However, the most noticeable differences is the processor. The current handset of this family sports a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz.
Well, earlier it’s been supposed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will cost around 999 yuan ($144) and 1199 yuan ($173) for the 4GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB versions, respectively. It’s difficult to hope this pricing will be actual, as the retailer is currently getting pre-orders at $302.33. Moreover, this pricing is valid only for the gold and silver versions, while the black / gray variant still has no certain pricing.
