Thanks to Chinese certification agency TENAA, we now know for sure that Xiaomi is ready to launch an improved version of the Redmi Note 4 handset. The listing has also revealed its design, as well as most of the specifications, which confirms rumours about faster hardware.
The overall look of the new phone will remain the same and the new model will only get upgrade under the hood with better CPU, more RAM and storage. At first, the phone was rumoured to pack Snapdragon 653, but the listing reveals higher-clocked Helio X20 chip. The Snapdragon 653 version could also be in the works for certain markets. The chipset is paired with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 4,100 mAh battery. The phone is expected to become official anytime soon.
