The phone comes with a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 5MP front shooter. Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery, same as the Redmi Note 3. The new Redmi phone will be running the latest MIUI 8 version over Android Marshmallow
Xiaomi’s tagline for the event is “Time to get smArter”, with the ‘A’ being the focus.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A belongs to the affordable price range of phones in the market. It comes with great features like high end connectivity, VoLTE, a massive battery and a great display
Xiaomi also unveiled two variants of the smartphone called the Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Prime.
The Redmi 4 standard edition comes with a 720 p resolution and Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space.
The battery on the Redmi 4A will be smaller – 3120 mAh.
The phones will be available in three colour variants – Gold, Grey and Silver.
Xiaomi had recently launched the Mi Note 2, and displayed its edge-to-edge display concept phone the Mi Mix.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro edition sports a 5-inch TFT display with 1080p resolution with 2.5D curved glass.
The phone is running on a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and will be featuring 3GB RAM along with 32GB of storage (expandable to 128GB).
