Xiaomi makes huge investments not only in smartphones development but in other niches as well. One of them is its very popular QiCYCLE line known for its smart bicycles. The latest of them was announced a few days back. And though the most beloved product from this line is considered to be the M365 Folding Electric Scooter, bicycles are more practical and can be used on various roads. This statement refers to all types of bikes including those that are used by kids. Such a bicycle was announced by Xiaomi today. It’s called simply – the Xiaomi Primary School Bike. But there are too many useful features making it stand out from the others.
Like the one made for adults the Xiaomi Primary School Bike uses a 6061 aviation alloy frame, which is 45% lighter than an ordinary steel frame, but the strength is increased by 30% to meet all the types of riding. The frame uses a flat welding technology. So the connection part is smooth and delicate. In addition, to help children in getting on and off the bike uses a low-span frame design. The bold front fork is 31.8mm in diameter. Thus it is 11% thicker than the regular 28.6mm. This adds stability, safety, and comfort to the ride. The fork is higher than the conventional height of 15mm.
The Xiaomi Primary School Bike comes with double-layer aluminum alloy rims as well as double reflectors on the front and back. There is an anti-skid brake system for manual control. Plus, kids can widen all terrain tires via a small pattern. Apart from this, the bike also comes with a SHIMANO 7 speed grasp for little hand kids. At last, this bike has a V bi-break system for more stable braking
It is priced at 799 yuan ($120).
