On November 6, Xiaomi held a new product launch conference and announced up to 6 new models. There have been products for different niches. But one of the most attractive ones was the Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition. It continues the advantages of the original model launched last year, but at the same time, the price was reduced to 199 yuan ($29), which makes it more affordable to large masses.

Besides the useful features that we will get acquainted later, one of its selling points is the appearance. The Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition continues the high-value design of the original model, using a circular body, which compact and lightweight. At the same time, it is more convenient storage and saves more space. There is an integrated panel, which is quite simple and stylish. Plus, we can see a 9-block fire LED intuitive display.
The iconic minimalist knob operation requires only one push to operate. Press 0.5 seconds to turn on, rotate to adjust the firepower, tap to pause, long press to shut down.
The cooker is designed to help prevent slippery pot effect. A silicone ring is mounted on the edge of the surface to create friction and help the pan to be better fixed.
On the bottom of the stove is a gas-cooled air duct, along with 35 adjustable mini fan blades to exchange air with the outside, and keep the stove from overheating, helping to maintain the product’s lifespan. The four rubber feet of the Mijia Induction Cooker is sturdy. They support standing on many different planes.
Moreover, the cooker uses a microcrystalline water separator technology, which prevents water from penetrating inside the coil to avoid electric leakage, ensuring absolute safety. Xiaomi has filed for a patent for this design. But you should also know this part is not waterproof. So can’t wash it out.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition has a built-in 156mm large coil, which adopts a double-stack design, built-in 156mm large coil, 2100w stir-fry strong firepower, rapid heating, and supports low-power continuous heating.
It will go on sale on November 11.
