Prior to September 27, most of the news surrounding the launch of some Xiaomi smartphones and gadgets were about the Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but we also saw some news regarding a new 65-inch Television set from Xiaomi named the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 65-inch.
Actually, there are two models of the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S with 55-inch and 65-inch displays respectively, and hence they are called the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 55-inch and Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 65-inch. Both have been launched to succeed the Xiaomi Mi TV 2S series which rocked the market last year. If you don’t know, the Xiaomi Mi TV series are a set of ultra-thin Television sets that use the best components available at the moment, and this time Xiaomi didn’t disappoint with the Mi TV 3S, as they went all out with Samsung 4K and LG IPS display panels and extreme thinness to make sure you get the most premium quality.
Now that the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 65-inch has been launched, what should you be expecting about it next? Well, some would say we should wait until the device is being sold in the various online marketplaces like Gearbest and Aliexpress, but no, that’s not how things go with smart gadgets these days. Usually after the launch of a product, we are introduced to a barrage of hands-on pictures, unboxings and mini reviews before the product starts selling to customers at all. Here we can see the display of the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 65-inch which has a 4K display resolution made by Samsung. It is worthy to note that the display supports HDR mode.
Here is the Mi logo on the TV which denotes the fact that it was manufactured by Xiaomi.
Here is the base of the TV where the stand gives it support against the ground. This means that you can either stand the TV on its own on some platform, or you can attach it to the wall; whichever suits you!
This shot gives us a very clear view of how thin the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 65-inch. According to its specifications, the Mi TV 3S 65-inch is just 9.9mm thick at its thinnest point!
And here is the 65 inches of the display in all its glory. The TV is truly beautiful and looks premium since it was made with an anodized aluminium alloy frame and champagne diamond double-cut back.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S comes with a 20-core 2-dome tweeter and speaker system with a wide frequency range.
That’s not all. It also comes with a 2.5-inch subwoofer that offers better bass sound quality.
Though it has its own separate remote controller, the Mi TV 3S also comes with on-device controls.
There are also two separate surround sound systems with bass reflex.
Not one, but two surround sound systems with 5GHz wireless satellite technology.
