Tomorrow Xiaomi will hold a special conference, where it will announce its own-made processor dubbed as the Xiaomi Pinecone. But two other devices are rumored to be unleashed at the event. First, the Xiaomi Mi 5C, the first Pinecone-packed smartphone is thought to come tomorrow. We have heard about this for a while. But what about the second product? It turns out Xiaomi will also unveil the next-gen Xiaomi Mi Router HD. Here is what we know about this beast before it’s officially introduced.
The previous Mi WiFi 3 router has succeeded to win hearts of many users. Thanks to a list of demanded features it was widely used for various purposes. If you remember, the Xiaomi Mi WiFi 3 comes with four dual-band supporting antennas; it supports up to 126 device connections; 128GB of ROM; data speed of 1167Mbps; Mi App support; offline functions; seven layers of security and so on. Thus we are dealing with one of the best products in this niche. Moreover, it is priced at around $30 that makes it one of the best options in the market. Now imagine all the features are doubled.
The Xiaomi Mi Router HD is another god-class product that will be announced tomorrow. The official poster says ‘a big device is coming’. Thus we will see actually a great product. However, its features are not anything new to us. The manufacturer has uncovered some of its specs back in January. According to it, the Xiaomi Mi Router HD comes with four antennas supporting up to 2600Mbps data speed, 802.11ac wireless connectivity, high-pass IPQ8084 processor, built-in hard drive at 1TB and 8TB storage. Unfortunately, the price tags should be higher than expected – the 1TB version is rumored to come at less than $200, while its sibling will be priced around $500. But I guess the Xiaomi Mi Router HD will find its customers.
