There are not many smartphones sporting a border-less screen. Moreover, when it comes to border-less displays we wonder whether it’s curved or not. If a phone features such a handset we have all reasons to put it into the category of high-end smartphones immediately. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has earned this title long before it is officially launched. We know this awesome device will come with an OLED double curved screen provided by LG. But no one has managed to ask whether it supports Frame Interactive Technology already seen on the ZTE Nubia Z9. Well, before the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is launched we’ll hear many rumors on it, and as of now, a mystic poster has been spotted that makes us think the upcoming Xiaomi flagship will support this technology as well.
If you are familiar with the Nubia Z9, you should know this technology completely changes the way we interact with smartphones. If a regular touchscreen handset allows to swipe on screen and use multi-touch for different operations, the Frame Interactive Technology allows people to use the both curved edges of the phone for more convenient use. This make a device stand out from the other smartphones bringing more helpful usage.
As for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, we have some suggestions this phone will support it due to a MIUI leaked poster. We think its design hints the presence of this technology on the phone captured in the photo. But there is no naming, and the bottom part is in the shadow, and we can guess whether it’s the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 or another handset. Personally, I don’t think Xiaomi will power its forthcoming flagship with this technology, because it would affect the pricing. The latter is also higher than expected – $590 (3999 yuan). So may be the Frame Interactive Technology will appear on other Xiaomi products or the Mi Note 2 will come with it?
