Two months ago we learned about a new flagship coming to our way by Xiaomi. Later it became known that we are dealing with the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which should sport a dual curved display and the Snapdragon 821 chipset. A few days later another rumored had it that the Mi Note 2 will be launched in August and will cost around CNY 2,999 ($449). Even the release date was set to be on August 16. However the date has come and gone, but we didn’t see the device to be available for purchase. Many began thinking Xiaomi will retard the release of the Mi Note 2, but today’s leak makes us to think we are on a few days before it’s available in the stores.
Generally, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is known for its key features that make this handset compete with the best phones available in the market and carrying top brands. The most attractive features worthy to be mentioned are:
- 5.7? 1920×1080 IPS LCD Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Octa-core Processor (Cortex A53)
- 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB Storage
- Front facing fingerprint Sensor
- 3600mAh Battery with Quick Charge
It has been also said the phone will come in three version in terms of internal memory 1, 4GB + 32GB (Standard Edition); 2, 6GB + 64GB (Top Edition); 3, 6GB + 128GB (Edge), and they will cost 376 $, 451$, and 527$ relatively.
Now when the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flyer has leaked, let’s see what feature we can find in this handset actually. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will sport a 5.5-inch OLED display, which is a bit smaller than we have heard earlier, but what’s more important it is still curved. Second, the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 is approved. Third, it will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM like the leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Batman Edition, and finally, what’s the most attractive, the Mi Note 2 will be packed with a dual camera to provide a better shooting experience.
The final pricing is still unknown, but we guess it wouldn’t differ from the options we introduced above.
