It doesn’t matter whether you prefer Android, iOS or Windows Phone platform, you have to admit that Xiaomi Mi Mix is a nice looking phone. When it first came out, we were stunned with its extremely thin bezels, but such design had its flaws.
One of the biggest problems of the Mi Mix is the sound quality, since the phone used a piezoelectric ceramic speaker that vibrated the phone. Xiaomi is determined to improve the sound quality by replacing the speaker with a different kind of earpiece. Xiaomi will reportedly team up with AAC technologies to develop a better technology called AAC Actuator that achieve a better screen sound at low frequency. The technology is still unknown to us, so we’ll have to wait for new details to find out more about it.
