Xiaomi’s first bezel-less smartphone has been a major hit, but the phone still isn’t available in all countries. And while some people still can’t buy it, the company’s CEO confirmed in February that a successor to the Mi Mix is designed by the same French designer Philippe Starck and that the phone will arrive later this year.
Today, the Mi Mix 2 has appeared on Geekbench, confirming some of its specifications. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 will power the phone and will be paired with 6 GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with MIUI 9. The display size isn’t revealed, but we have learned it will have a 6.4-inch dual curved AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution.
