Xiaomi will hold a conference on April 11 instead of 16, where it should unleash the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 6 and its higher variant, Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. We know much about this awesome device, and we hope almost everything we have heard about it will turn into reality. Otherwise, the Mi 6 won’t be able to fight against the beasts in face of the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6, Huawei P10 and others. As the release date is getting closer, we’ll see more rumors on it. Even on of the geeks has decided to make a 3D render based on the rumors. But today we have something better for you – the real image of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 have been leaked confirming / showcasing a number of feature we dream of. Plus, another source made one more render proving this handset will sport a dual camera. Let’s see what other specs will be included in the list.
The first thing caught our eyes it the tough design with no-rounded corners. Thus it looks like a Mi MIX and Mi Note 2. This render hints at no 3D back panel. Though the edges are a bit curved for better ergonomics. Anyway, there is a dual-camera accompanied with a dual-LED flash.
Taking a glance at another leaked photo, we can see the phone is going to run on Android 7.0, MIUI 8.3.14, and it will be packed with a Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.7GHz. Moreover, seems this photo has been taken from the highest variant, as it comes with a 6GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.
As for other features, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to have at least two versions. The regular model should come with a 5.15-inch screen, 4GB + 32GB (64GB) memory combination, 3200mAh battery, and Sony’s latest sensor of IMX400. Its sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus (aka Xiaomi Mi 6 Pro) should be equipped with a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB (256GB) memory combination, and dual-camera of IMX362. The body is expected to be made of either glass or ceramic.
Scenario: How to Bury Mi Brand via Xiaomi Mi 6
The pricing for the regular variant should start at 1999 yuan ($289), while the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will cost at least 2499 yuan ($361). Waiting for April 11 eagerly.
