Unfortunately, the 10nm manufacturing process and Snapdragon 835 have caused yet another delay. As the time passes by, it looks like LG made a good decision to include Snapdragon 821 inside its latest flagship phone, as many Snapdragon 835-powered phones will miss its original launch date.
The Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 6 smartphone was expected to arrive in early April, but the problems with low Snapdragon 835 yields have postponed the phone to late May.
The same source claims that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will sport an ultra-narrow frame design and feature up to 6 GB of RAM. Some reports suggest that three versions are in the works and that the entry-level device may be powered by the Helio X30 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. All three models will have the same design, dual rear cameras and fast charging technologies. The base model will reportedly be priced at $290 (CNY 1,999) in China.
