Xiaomi Scooter Handlebars

The handlebars are designed really well, all controls can be reached comfortably when your hands on the handlebar. The accelerator on the right just needs a gentle push down when starting off and it’s really easy to keep at one speed. Down the center we have a power switch with 4 LED’s above to indicate how much charge the batter has left and there is a bell attached on the left, along with the rear brake handle, which is very responsive when activated.

On the rear we have the 8.5″ inflated wheels and the scooter stand, which is really easy to flip down and up and it supports the weight of the scooter really well on hard surfaces. The rear mechanical disk brake is great and stops the scooter in good time when pulled firmly. Over the top of the wheel is the read mudguard which has the rear brake/light attached and this activated when activating the breaking system.

If we come to the front wheel of the Xiaomi M365 this is where the motor is located and the E-ABS anti-lock system which kicks in when you release the acceleration trigger and slows the scooter down gradually. You can use the mechanical brake at the same time to assist with stopping the scooter. On the base of the scooter there is a red rubber seal which covers the charging point of the scooter, this keeps water & dirt out of there when in use.

Folding the Xiaomi Electric Scooter down is really easy, the lever you see pictured above is pulled down and the handlebars come down with it, resting on the rubber stopper which is situated on the rear mudguard. This obviously makes it easier to transport around and fits easily into the back of a boot as pictured below.

This Scooter is an excellent piece of kit and I loved it, its smooth and easy driving makes it a pleasure to ride, but it’s definitely NOT a stunt scooter! Please take a look at my full video review below.
